Eureka, California Activities Blue Ox Millworks Victorian mansions fuse with the lore of Paul Bunyan at Blue Ox Millworks, a unique millwork, historic park and school of traditional arts. Visitors may be most interested in the millwork’s Living History Park, where you can watch craftsmen using the tools of the 1800's and early 1900's to make wood work, print and bind a book, black smith a nail, mix stains and varnishes, and meet Babe and Blue the oxen. Visitors are also welcome to take a class at the school where both adults and youth learn about the traditions of the past via hands-on workshops in woodworking, blacksmithing, ceramics, boat building and more.
